Community Guidelines

Last updated: July 3, 2026

JFAMNET exists to help adults build meaningful, lasting human connections — chosen family, mentors, friends, and supportive communities. These Guidelines describe the behavior we expect from every member. They apply everywhere on the Platform: profiles, messages, communities, and events.

Our Core Principles

  • Put people first. Every member deserves dignity, safety, and respect.
  • Be authentic. Be the real you. No fake identities, no impersonation.
  • Consent matters. Ask before you share, tag, or take a conversation off-platform.
  • Protect privacy. What's shared here stays here unless someone gives you permission.
  • Build up, don't tear down. Disagreement is fine; cruelty is not.

What's Not Allowed

Harassment and hate

  • Bullying, threats, stalking, or coordinated harassment.
  • Hate speech or slurs targeting race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age.

Sexual content and exploitation

  • Sexually explicit content, nudity, or solicitation.
  • Any content that sexualizes minors — ever. We report this to authorities.
  • Human trafficking, coercion, or exploitation of any kind.

Violence and dangerous behavior

  • Threats of violence, promotion of self-harm, or encouragement of dangerous acts.
  • Content that glorifies terrorism, mass violence, or violent extremism.

Fraud, scams, and spam

  • Romance scams, money requests, gift-card schemes, crypto pitches, or investment solicitations.
  • MLM recruiting, unsolicited advertising, phishing, or link spam.
  • Fake profiles, catfishing, or misrepresenting who you are.

Privacy violations

  • Sharing someone else's personal information, photos, or messages without consent.
  • Recording or screenshotting private conversations to shame or harm.

Illegal activity

  • Buying or selling illegal goods and services.
  • Any content or conduct that violates applicable law.

How We Enforce

Our Trust & Safety team combines AI signals with human review. When a report comes in, we consider context, history, and severity. Actions we may take include:

  • Removing content.
  • Warnings and required education.
  • Feature restrictions (e.g., messaging limits).
  • Temporary or permanent account removal.
  • Reporting to law enforcement when someone is in danger or when required by law.

We prioritize repeat and severe violations. Certain violations — such as child sexual exploitation, credible threats of violence, or trafficking — result in immediate removal and, where appropriate, reporting to authorities.

Appeals

If you believe an action was made in error, you can appeal within 30 days by emailing appeals@jfamnet.com. A trained reviewer — not the automated system that took the initial action — will re-examine the case.

How to Report

  • Use our report-abuse form to send a confidential report to Trust & Safety.
  • Use the in-app Report button on any profile, message, or community post.
  • Email safety@jfamnet.com for urgent safety concerns.
  • If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.

Meeting in Person

Take your time getting to know someone before meeting offline. Meet in public places, tell a friend, and trust your instincts. JFAMNET does not conduct background checks and cannot guarantee the behavior of any member.

We Grow Together

These Guidelines will evolve as our community grows. We welcome feedback at community@jfamnet.com. Thank you for helping make JFAMNET a place where people truly belong.
